Clerk to Datchworth Parish Council

The position will require you to work from home based on 40 hours per month. It involves organising the running of council meetings, its finances and various aspects and issues that arise in the village.

The applicant must be computer literate, particularly using email, online banking, Word and Excel, also familiarity with updating websites would be an advantage.  For the purpose of taking the minutes and providing reports to the council the applicant would be expected to attend council meetings which are held on the evening of the second Monday of each month (apart from August and December) and there may be one or two other meetings throughout the year.

Training is available and equipment and a dedicated phone line will be provided.
